“To be a woman healing from complex trauma is to carry generations of silence and still choose to speak. From the wreckage, she rebuilds—she reclaims. Her healing is not quiet; it is a declaration that she is here, and she belongs to herself.” ~ Kadie Lawson

Founder & Clinical Counsellor
M.Ed., RCC
Welcome!
I’m Kadie Lawson, a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy for women, with a focus upon narcissistic abuse recovery, developmental trauma, and emotional healing.
My journey began in 2013 as a public-school educator and special education teacher, where I supported vulnerable youth and families navigating complex emotional and behavioural challenges. This experience deepened my understanding of attachment injuries, family systems, and the long-term impact of developmental complex trauma.
In 2020, I transitioned into private practice with a mission to create a safe, compassionate space for women to access mental health support. While mental health is universal, women carry burdens which are unique to the female experience. As partners, mothers, sisters, and daughters–in all our roles, we are steeped in responsibilities; cloaked in silent vulnerabilities. My commitment is to providing safety and connection; a space where women can feel seen and heard without judgement. My practice is rooted in empathy, connection and empowerment and together, we can undo the aloneness of womanhood.
Together, we work to:
- Rebuild self-worth and self-trust
- Cultivate emotional resilience
- Develop healthy boundaries
- Heal from gaslighting, emotional manipulation, and coercive control
- Reconnect with your authentic self.
Areas of Focus:
- Survivors of Narcissistic and Relational Abuse
- Developmental Trauma/Attachment Injury
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Self Esteem/Body Image
- Pregnancy/Motherhood
- Victims of Sexual Violence

Therapeutic Modalities
I work from a relational foundation, where healing unfolds through meaningful connection. I walk alongside you as you reconnect with your inherent strength and capacity for growth—until the day you no longer need my support, because you’ve come to trust your own inner wisdom.
